A YouTube content creator who specializes in covering the Star Wars Black Series action figure line from Hasbro was arrested for possessing child pornography.

A man from LeRoy was arrested over a week ago on a county warrant for allegedly possessing child pornography.
The Normal Police Department said 21-year-old Luke Griffin was arrested July 28. An investigation was started in April 2025 by a Normal Police detective into alleged child sexual abuse material, identifying a suspect.
In December 2025, investigators located the suspect, identified as Griffin, and seized multiple electronic devices, which were later submitted for forensic examination. Investigators also interviewed Griffin about the allegations.
Luke Griffin runs the YouTube channel Lukenessmonster. It claims to be “The Best place for everything Star Wars The Black Series.”
Sure.
What I find egregious is that law enforcement officers began an investigation in April 2025. They seized Luke Griffin’s electronic devices and interviewed him back in December 2025. They then arrested him on 28 July, 2026.
Justice is anything but swift.
Even though they seized “multiple” electronic devices belonging to Luke Griffin, he was still able to make YouTube videos. His most recent video was posted a month ago.
Five months ago, he posted a video he made while walking the toy aisles of his local Target. Not that there is anything wrong with an adult perusing the toy aisles at a major retailer. I myself frequent the toy aisles looking for the dumb stuff I collect. The difference is I’m not sexually attracted to children. Evidently, Luke Griffin is.
After all, why would someone possess child pornography if they weren’t sexually attracted to children?
If Luke Griffin has access to technology to make and post YouTube videos, then he has access to the technology required to download and store child pornography. It would be foolish to think he was going to stop.
People with grotesque sexual compulsions usually don’t just stop.
